This is an original mixed media watercolour/ink painting on Arches cold-pressed watercolour paper. The fine lines you see in some of the white areas on the cat are a result of the "resist" technique used in the painting. It adds texture to the fur and makes it more fur-like.
The painting is matted with a white outer/black inner mat and shrink-wrapped (to protect the painting) ready for you to frame. The painting is 8" x 10". The mat is 11" x 14".
The painting is signed in the bottom right corner "JAB 04" and comes with a certificate of authenticity.

Love this particular cat painting. It transcends most 'pet portraits' we're used to seeing.
