A Whale of a Good Time!

A Whale of a Good Time 30"x30" Handpainted silk scarf

From November through March, the humpback whales swim to the Hawaiian Islands to enjoy the warm waters and have their babies! Who could blame them? This scene depicts a mama whale playing in the ocean with her newborn. Whale watching is one of my favorite things to do on Kauai!

I created this piece during my Silk Painting Class at my Waimea, Kauai studio, Painting Paradise.

This functional art piece can be washed, ironed and worn to accent your outfit, or it can be displayed in your home.

Aloha from Kauai,

Marionette
