Sometimes a scene or moment in time suddenly inspires a painting! So it was one evening as the sun was setting in my backyard. I was soaking the aches of the day away in my hot tub, and as the sun lowered, the trees and leaves turned a beautiful golden! I began composing this painting in my head as I soaked!
The result was this little 8x10 original watercolor. I used a paint called Bronzite Genuine from Daniel Smith that has a natural golden shimmer to it.
