There is something special about heading out to surf at Sandy’s as the morning sun pops up, over the horizon, silhouetting Maui and Molokai. Many times, the entire landscape glows a yellowy-orange, just for a minute. It is my favorite time of day!
“Morning Glow At Sandy’s”
is one of my 6” x 12” palette knife paintings. I have been lucky enough to see many mornings such as this, and thought it would be fun to try and put it on canvas.
