POIPU BEACH EARLY RISERS ~ Lisabongzee's Island Dream Life

This is a palette knife painting I recently finished after a wonderful trip to the island of Kauai. The inspiration for “Poipu Beach Early Risers” was an early morning visit to Poipu Beach. The weather was not the best, with rain off and on, which kept the beach pretty empty. When the sun finally did break through, the lifeguard was just opening up his station for the day, and a couple of keiki had the sand all to themselves….. for just a very short time!

“Poipu Beach Early Risers”
is an original palette knife oil painting.
It measures 10” x 20”.

Mahalo for taking the time to view my artwork.

Captures the feeling! This was my old stomping grounds, in the late 70's when Poipu wasn't built up like today.
