Wailupe is another little beach park on Oahu’s south east side that can be easily missed.
It is a small park along Kalanianaole Highway, near Kawaikui.
If you happen to be there certain evenings, just before the sun disappears behind Diamond Head, the clouds dance in pinks and purples above the water that just seems to magically sparkle at this time of day. The beautiful palm trees tower over the many little residential piers that line the Wailupe Peninsula.
