Metallic silver, gold and iridescent white make up the main palette of this painting of an Arabian surrounded by rich browns and yellows (Arabians being a favorite subject matter). It has a definite sheen. I stuck to my favorite palette for the background, consisting of the umbers and raw sienna, amongst others. This would look so handsome in the right frame and mat! Original work, not a print. Painted on quality paper that will not yellow.
