Beavertail Rocks by Erin Spencer

Beavertail Rocks

Beavertail Rocks . 10 x 10 . oil on cradled panel
Here's my latest completed painting of the rocky shoreline at Beavertail State Park in Jamestown, Rhode Island. This is such a picturesque spot! The brushstrokes are loose and full of energy in this painting. I hope you'll enjoy looking at it as much as I enjoyed painting it!

I'd love to be sitting on those rocks watching the sea.

It would be nice, wouldn't it?

Beautiful! I love the sense of motion not only in the water, but mimicked in the stones too.

Thank you for all your wonderful compliments on this painting. I can admire it in my studio still, but I hope that someone out there will get the chance to admire it in their space soon!!
