"Waimanalo Blues"
Traveling along the coast road from Kailua to Hawaii Kai, you must pass through the
sleepy little town of Waimanalo. Only 3 miles long, it takes you to a different, more "laid-back" way of life in Hawaii. Waimanalo has pristine sandy beaches along the entire stretch on one side of the road, and on most days, the water is the most beautiful shades of turquoise and aqua blues imaginable. This is a view looking towards the Makai Pier. In the distance, the Mapakuu Lighthouse can be seen perched up on the cliff.
