Snow Snail

My thoughts are starting to turn to winter now -- I love the way the sky is tinted pink at sunset, and think about how the strange long purple shadows will look when snow begins to fall. This is a surreal snow scene I recently painted and listed on Etsy. Acrylic on stretched canvas, 8 x 10. I will have photographic prints made from a direct scan of the painting in the near future.
