I've decided to start doing ACEOs again as fill in between paintings and also to use for color studies. For me, it's also a good way to get a painting out of my head and onto paper without investing the usual amount of time I spend on a canvas.
I took the series of photos for this last spring, out cat Lily, was convinced the bluebirds couldn't see her, and on their part, the bluebirds were much more interested in eating their worms and bathing than a silly old cat.....I think I might use this one as a painting later, still haven't decided.
