Ariettes Oublieés

My newest painting created on Earth Day. Inspiration is from the huge tulip magnolia in my front yard, and from a recent dream.

A friend made the comment that this was like a Paul Verlaine poem.
So I titled it from a poem he wrote for a Claude Debussy piece; 'Ariettes Oublieés'.
Oil on canvas, 24"x30".

Please visit my Etsy shop and take a look at my other work~ thanks!

This is beautiful. It has a softness and dream-like quality about it. I'm going to go and look up the poem now!
