"Texas Morning" by Becky Brocato

A rusty tin roof, a split rail fence, big Live Oak trees, a dusty rose sky. And a field of dew-covered Bluebonnets. This is a sight that is all too familiar to early morning travelers who choose the backroads and farm-to-market byways in the Texas Hill Country. It is Springtime in Texas!

Printed from one of my small original Texas Landscape watercolor paintings, this open edition reproduction is available in my Etsy shop.

Looks like a place to sit and rest a while!

Delightful, Becky! I didn't realize you were a fellow Texan! I live 125 miles of San Antonio. I can get to the Katy area in about 1/2 hours. Love to see the bluebonnets!

Hi Jean,
Thanks so much! Yes, Texas born and raised. I do love the Texas Hill Country in springtime. I will be going for a girlfriend shopping weekend in Boerne in a couple of weeks, not sure if the wildflowers will still be out. The bluebonnets sure came early this year!
