Watercolor Art by Tracee Murphy

I've been painting lots of winter scenes lately. It's that time of year even though here in South Texas it's rare for it to snow. We did have a Christmas miracle in 2004we had record snowfall on Christmas Eve. It was wonderful!

It's that one white Christmas and the first time I saw snow when I lived in Winthrop, Massachusetts, years ago (way back when I was in 7th grade) I draw inspiration for my paintings and the feelings I get during the holiday season. I love drawing and painting snowman, poinsettias, winterscapes, and the many things associated with this time of year.

You can read more about my inspiration for winterscapes in My Blog and view more of my work in My Etsy Shop. You can click on the link, but my Etsy shop id is traceemurphy.

Thank you for letting me share. As I always like to say to everyone, Best wishes to all of you and your shop and I hope everyone has a prosperous new year!
