Cool Winter Morning--Watercolor Art by Tracee Murphy

This beautiful Cool Winter Morning landscape painting was listed in my shop yesterday evening. Earlier this week I was doing some painting for our annual watercolor society Christmas party. Everyone brings a painting who wants to participate in the gift exchange and I didn't have much to choose from that I didn't alreadyhave in my Etsy shop. The gift exchange is so much fun because I get to end up with a lovely work of art from one of my fellow artists. It's a pretty cool and inexpensive way to add to my collection too. I couldn't decide which painting to take. It was a toss up between this painting another one I painted a while back of a bowl of lemons. I let my husband choose which one I should give as a gift and he chose the bowl of lemons. I think that was the better choice since it doesn't snow down here anyways. I had a lovely time at the party and a good time was had by all. ~Tracee Murphy

Gorgeous. Wish I was there right now. Although..my footprints would disrupt such a beautiful scene. :) Lovely!

Cool Winter Morning definitly is beautiful...you would have many wonderful landscapes to paint where I live ...it feels as though it has been snowing for weeks here!!!

The gift exchange is a great idea...your bowl of lemons is a great painting...the person who received it is very fortunate!

Cheers

this reminds me of a scene my mom would paint (and that's a compliment!)
