Giclee reproduction of an endangered Hawaiian plant species, the Silversword, photographed in it's last phase of flower production. After it flowers it dies, leaving behind seeds to germinate.
This is a most unusual and rare plant particular to Mt. Haleakala, Maui and is federally listed as a threatened species.
