New Painting From Kathy Martin Studio!

Lazy Daisy!
I love daisies, but wanted to create a painting that still had a "fall feel" to it.
~
This painting was painted 24 Karat gold paint and then made to look antique. The flower's petals are coated in 18 karat gold leaf. The center is silver leafed, and the step and leaves are copper leafed.
~
This is one fancy flower! =) hehe

Deminsions: 5 inches by 7 inches (5" x 7" , 12.5 cm x 17.8 cm)

What a cool technique. I wouldn't have thought to do a daisy in these colors. It works!

It's a really unique technique, I imagine seeing this in person, it would be even more lustrous. Again, I'll say it, just love that background!

Great piece, Kathy! I love daisies, they do lend themselves to art work. This is delightful work.
