Dutch Courage

Amsterdam Flower Market, Acrylic on canvas board

This one of my favourite paintings I have on sale in my etsy shop. I hope it finds a new home soon or I'll have to keep it!
I love painting with Acrylic paint as I'm very impatient and love how quick it dries. However I have been toying with the idea of going to a oil painting evening class. I tried oil whilst at art school but found it so hard......I just need courage.

I can see why this is one of your favorite pieces. Nice setting and colors! I say "go for it" in trying oils again...even if you don't end up choosing to go that route, it'd be fun to play around with for a little bit!

I Looooove oils. I would encourage you to take the class, just for the inspriation and thee new way of looking at things. You can always go back to acrylics - or use both! I just painted my very first painting with acrylics! I'll be putting a pice on Etsy soon that I am working on with acrylics. I may need to get advice from you on them. Your painting is very nice.
