These are NOT just watercolor paintings!! These two original paintings incorporate many of the wonderful techniques employed by watercolorists to give them texture and depth!
I used the technique of masking and splatter to create texture in the grassy areas of "Birch Creek". I used a wax candle to help create the white foaming water in the creek!
And Stone bridge has amazing texture with scraping and roughing of the paper, salting techniques and of course layered masking!
