On my blog I wrote about how I don't like rhodedendrons, but because they are so hardy they always thrive in my garden. So I photographed them and came up with a series of collages incorporating the rhodedendrons, rusty found images, and vintage text. This piece consists of ultrachrome ink on japanese washi paper, fused to gessobord. Flowers for June!

June Flowers Collage - Rhodedendrons & Rust

thanks! it looks better in person because you can see the texture, which is what I love about creating the backgrounds and then printing on them...
