poppies in spring

Here is my March Vast entry. Poppies in spring. I took a break from watercolors and oils and tried out my Caran D'Ache neocolor II watersoluble crayons. These crayons are wonderful...I love them! They have vivid, vivid color that goes on smooth and creamy...they're blendable and watersoluble and can go light over dark. A lot of fun. I live in western New York where we just got dumped on with over a foot of snow...I'm painting flowers to remind me spring is coming sometime! Visit my store to see more flowers. My website.

Your poppies are wonderful! And there ARE flowers under that snow, just waiting to come up!

Love these poppies, makes me think of Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz, walking through those fields of poppies!
