I have been preparing for a couple shows in Chicago, I have been doing a lot of Abstracts.
I hope to begin adding them to my Etsy store shortly.

So Many Stories - Original Mixed Media Canvas

The latest addition to my etsy shop, this is an original mixed media painting on a chunky box canvas, created using luggage tags, acrylic paints, ink, colored pencil and various re-cycled ephemera, including clock parts, lace, film negatives and and buttons!

The inspiration behind this painting is the memories and meanings held by things we often throw away.

Size: 32" x 12" x 1.5" approx. (81.3 x 30.5 x 3.8 cm approx.)

Renovation

A new painting , the start of a new series that I've been working on. Somewhere between dream and reality, the room is in a fog of renovation while outside there is an idyllic scene. From below the surface of the water you can see the light shine through the air bubbles as they float up.

This is an original acrylic collage painting on heavyweight rag board. Many layers of paint have been included in this creation along with altered paper (recycled, marbleized magazine pages). It is 11 x 11 inches (27.94 x 27.94 cm) and has been finished with two coats of protective varnish. It is signed on the front; signed, dated and titled on the back.

Garden Paintings I Love in a Treasury by Raphaella Vaisseau

Months ago I put these garden paintings in my Treasury Sketch Pad for my next Treasury. Two computer crashes later I viewed Treasury West today and was astonished to see only 10 treasuries so I listed one and loaded all the item numbers from my old sketch and posted. I hope all of these beautiful gardens have sold since then. Even so, I hope people will find these etsy stores and love them as much as I do. I included my painting "Vines2" among my favorites - it was the piece that started my search for gardens I love in the first place. Enjoy!
