I'm posting one of my older figurative works here. 'Africa' was shown in my solo exhibit some years ago at Callanwolde Art Center in Atlanta. Oil on canvas 35"x25" 1988.
The model is Rosa, one of my favorites from my studies with the Chatov Studio in Atlanta.

okay - gorgeous! funny cuz i just posted a nude model in almost the same pose! why did I not know you were in Atalnta at one point?!?! COme back sometime so we can hang out! I have heard amazing things about Chatov - you are very lucky to have been at that studio!

Thanks Kristina- I worked with the Chatovs from '80 to '88. Lots of gestural work mixed with color theory. It's where I really learned to paint. Miss the brothers, but Marc is still around.
I used to trade portrait modeling with Constantin for classes. A good deal!
