Fly, Frida, Fly

Fly, Frida, Fly
This is an assemblage made in a upcycled tin framed with glass pieces and shell pieces. Frida looks through a silver frame. I embellished with a hummingbird and a beautiful piece of Mexican jewelry. I also used faux rock, paint and inks on the work. This piece is ready to hang with a wire on the back

What a wonderful piece! The hummingbird is particularly appropriate since Frida's art was so forward-thinking...takes guts to fly in the face of public opinion!
