Hello fellow artists and art lovers! I'm honored and excited to be a part of this artistic Etsy group. There are so many pieces of art that inspire me each day. I couldn't help but transfer my inspirations into a work of art. I created the painting to the left for the "February Red Challenge". It is titled "Inspire Someone". "Inspire Someone" is an amazing mixed media piece using
a Hotei Buddha photo, acrylic paint, metallic acrylics, collage items and rhinestones. Dreamy colors of red, aqua, and gold were applied resulting in a shimmery background. A little metal trinket with the word "Inspire" was placed in the middle of a mandala next to a tiny clear rhinestone. The painting is 11" x 14" with staple free, painted sides. I always complete my paintings with the appropriate hardware for easy hanging.The painting is a reminder to think past the self and inspire someone everyday. This painting and many of my other artworks are influenced by the teachings of Buddhism and other eastern philosophies. I hope to have inspired some of you!
