I love visiting the city of San Fransisco. I grew up in the Bay Area and a trip into the city meant a variety of sights, sounds and tastes! My favorite of all was driving across The Golden Gate Bridge! (But watch out for those seagulls! They look cute on the beach in my painting, but I had one steal a hot dog right out of my hand at the S. F Zoo!)
This view of the Golden Gate Bridge is from the Sausalito side of the bridge where the hills of the San Fransisco stand out, but the city is actually off to the left.
This original watercolor painting is done on 100% cotton Canvas created specially for watercolor by Fredrix. It is a canvas board and measures 11"x14". Sprayed with a non-yellowing sealant it is ready to be put into your frame. It can be framed with glass (preferable) or without glass just like an acrlyic. (no original painting should be hung in direct sunlight)
I always use artist quality watercolor paints and this painting has some very unique pigments made from gemstones. It gives it an extra natural shimmer in the sea.
